Authors are encouraged to use LaTeX to format manuscripts. You can use the ISIT 2024 paper template. Note that the review policy is single-blind and not double-blind as for the past ISIT 2023.
Manuscripts are limited to 5+1 pages in double-column format: Up to 5 pages of main text and 1 optional page containing only references. The submission may further include an optional 5-page appendix for further details, proofs, etc. The optional 5-page appendix may be in single-column or double-column format, it must be uploaded as a separate file, it is up to the reviewers' discretion to read, and it will not be published in the Proceedings. Alternatively, the submission may include an optional link to a longer, online version of the submitted manuscript, preferable on the arXiv. The inclusion of both an optional appendix and a link to a longer version is discouraged.
Manuscripts should use font size no smaller than 10 points, and have reasonable margins on all 4 sides of the text. Papers should have no page numbers and no headers or footers. The top and bottom margins should be at least 0.5 inches. All fonts should be embedded in the pdf file. For more details, please check the ISIT 2024 paper example.
Paper registration policy
- For each paper, at least one author must register as an attendee and presenter.
- Papers that are not presented at ISIT 2024 by an author will not be published either in the proceedings or in IEEE Xplore, unless the TPC chairs grant explicit permission for a substitute presenter in advance of the event who is qualified to present the paper and to answer questions.
- The materials in the paper must not have been published or submitted for possible publication in conference proceedings elsewhere, or have been published or accepted for publication as part of a journal paper, at the time of submission.
Jack Keil Wolf ISIT Student Paper Award
The IEEE Jack Keil Wolf ISIT Student Paper Award is given to up to 3 outstanding papers for which a student is the principal author and presenter. This author must be a registered student of an educational institution at the time of paper submission to be eligible.
Each paper must be classified as “eligible for student paper award” or “not eligible for student paper award”. Papers that are eligible for the student paper award must also include the comment “THIS PAPER IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE STUDENT PAPER AWARD." as a first line in the abstract.
